Yes: Doom. On the synthesizer. fm1doom runs FreeDM — the free arena-style campaign of the id classic — on the FM-1’s little 240×240 screen, and it’s not a pre-recorded video: it’s playable, with health, armor, ammo, and automap on screen, and the silicone keys standing in as a gamepad. It’s signed by zvenson — Sven Trogus, of sloopDX, zp12, and the community hub — and it installs from the browser like any firmware in this scene.

What it does

It’s built on the sloopDX/SLOOP/Felucca platform, with one friendly detail: it preserves your sloopDX projects in flash — killing demons doesn’t delete your groovebox. Mind the licenses, though: GPL-2.0 plus FreeDM’s BSD-3 data, a mix that breaks the hub’s rule (it only mirrors GPL-3.0), which is why it’s not in its catalog even though it does have its own installer.

Status

Experimental, repo created October 7. And don’t confuse them: fm1-doom (Keitark) is another Doom, independent, not even confirmed on hardware — this is the one you can install and play today. The full map of the scene, in the ecosystem.
